Talking to the host, Vennie, an amazing poetess witch, I told her about my new spellcasting journey, which is a new development, yet, was spirit led. Vennie decided to have spellcaating as the topic for the next Woo Wednesday and I am gathering all my spellcasting tools on this post so I can be prepared and read from here.

Celebrating Venus Day: Embracing the Ancient Goddess on Friday the 13th
In ancient times, Friday the 13th was not the harbinger of misfortune that it is often considered today. Instead, it was a day imbued with positive significance, particularly in the context of Venus, the ancient goddess of love, beauty, and fertility. This day offers a unique opportunity to connect with the divine feminine and celebrate Venusās enduring influence.
Ok, I have to find an actual connection between Friday the 13th and Venus, in ancient times Friday was Venus’s day. Venus as Aphrodite is one if the most ancient deities and this day was celebrated as the goddess day. So I’m observing it as Venus day on steroids.
Ancient Lore and Venus
Venus, known as Aphrodite in Greek mythology, was revered across ancient cultures. She was celebrated not only for her associations with love and beauty but also for her role as a symbol of prosperity and harmony. The number 13, often seen as unlucky in modern times, had positive connotations in pre-patriarchal societies. We have a full moon on Leo today. This could be excellent for us, we could feel like Lions and lionesses, we could shower someone in attention or receive lots of attention, or we could become the life of this party! Heart activations occurring during this time. This is a powerful moon during this as 222 portal.
Moon Book. Lunar Magic to Change Your Life by Sarah Faith Gottesdiener
I took my children to the library not expecting to get a book for myself. Then I saw a new book on display about witchcraft and decided to borrow it. Then I looked through the adult non fiction section and found this moon book and borrowed it so I could share with you.
What I learned so far from this book is that the moon is full for such a tiny amount of time and the energy is available 2 days before and 2 days after, so instead of obsessing over having a ritual on full moon day as I have in the past, it’s best to go through the full moon and see what signs and synchronicities we received, see what we can learn and then work on the full moon ritual after we have processed this information during the next two days after the full moon.
Today I learned that to avoid burnout during the full moon, it’s best to prepare ahead of time such as to meal prep the week before, to schedule time off, to ensure that we are not very busy on a week or a day or a couple of days where we know we will not be sleeping well and we will be feeling sleepy as I feel today and I typically feel sleepy and full moon days because I am not sleeping well enough. I just learned this today and will be doing this starting next month, this month is already too late for example I left some school work that I was going to help my youngest school daughter with for the day before the full moon, I should have planned ahead and finished this at least a full two days prior. Another idea I got from reading this was to do laundry the previous week, have the house clean going into the full moon week, have a movie night!

Work through your fears! Isn’t this a timely message! I resonated because, as I have mentioned on the blog. I’ve actually been feeling so much fear lately. It has actually been horrible, I was unable to blog, something rewarding I love to do! Well, it’s time to work through my fears and I’m on it! Being fearless is hot and so Scorpio š¦.
Be Reborn. Reinvent a Part of You.
A Scorpio new moon signifies rebirth. It’s a great time to meditate and feel as the Phoenix which dies and is reborn every time. Surely some aspect of your life (my life too) needs a rebirth, which to me is not something scary but to be reborn, we must leave behind some old aspect of us which is holding us back. This can be seen as a shadow aspect of us, which Scorpio tunes into. If you are not sure of which aspect needs to die, journal! Prior to writing on your journal set a powerful intention to figure out which aspect of you needs to be reborn. If death and rebirth are strong words for you, think of it as a massive upgrade when you don’t align with an aspect of you which held you back in the past. Another powerful journaling experience is to command your subconscious to write down the aspects of you that have held you back. This is definitely powerful. If you feel called to, call your angels, guides, or twin soul.
Time for Magic
Scorpio doesn’t play around. It understands the subconscious and thought this might be scary as heck, specially if you don’t usually swim that deep, it’s necessary. Most of us don’t even know what our subconscious houses but we all experience it in one way or another so it’s best to not fear it and decide to work through any fears or traumas held in the subconscious, we will be reborn when we do, like the phoenix.
Sexy Time
This part I was revitalized by! Yes, I had been going through a drought in sexy terms. This unlike me and it’s definitely due to my pregnancy which could throw me on either side of the sexy scale. (It’s another girl). Scorpio is the sign of the body, rules the privates apparently (I learned this on YouTube university) and is known as one of the or the sexiest sign when it comes to sex. However, Scorpio doesn’t want to have sex with anyone, as such a deep, transformative sign, it wants to find true love to forever after make sweet love with. Scorpio is just dreamy (my beloved twin flame is a Scorpio sun and rising, please accept/ discard my bias). However biased I am in my Scorpio Love, I have experienced first hand the life changing, healing, and energizing Scorpio lovemaking. A New You
Don’t be surprised if you come across secrets, specially dark, hidden secrets, even the kind that is so scary we wish we never knew. Scorpio loves to research and know the truth, no matter how heavy or dark. Don’t be surprised if you find out you have been lied to. Don’t let this darkness coming from the subconscious bring your spirits down. You might experience a dark night of the soul and please don’t fear it, use it for your growth and rebirth. Life will be better once you’re on the other side of your deeply held subconscious shadow. Don’t let fear rule you. Feel powerful and unstoppable to make this your best Scorpio new moon ever.
New Moon Rituals
I want to start a New Moon Ritual that really sticks (so Scorpio). In the past I’ve tried too many things. I set too many intentions. I tried too hard! And of course, come the next new moon I don’t keep it up. This month I want to make it simple. I will set one intention which I will write down and bury in my yard under the new moon with my dear daughters. I will get our tarot and oracle cards out and our crystals and play with the girls. They really enjoy it.
I will make it magical this time, entertaining and interesting to get kids attention. I have been collecting some natural materials and intend to make some simple wands. I also have started using my crystal wand and I want to make this a natural part of my life. There are many things I’ve started recently such as sewing and making actual clothes that are lovely and we get to wear, I intend to not stop as I have in the past.
Pleiades in Sight
For starseeds and cosmic magicians, November is the Pleiades month! Which is so exciting for me as I don’t see the Pleiades until the early morning hours when I am typically asleep. I already saw the beautiful constellation on Halloween. I live in Arizona and I believe it’s visible on the Northern hemisphere, so get out there and connect to the Pleiades.
