Find a quiet space where you can sit or lie down comfortably. Let your hands rest gently over your heart or in your lap. Close your eyes and begin to breathe slowly and deeply.
Inhale through your nose. Exhale through your mouth.
With each breath, allow your body to soften. Release the tension in your shoulders. Unclench your jaw. Let your heart feel safe for a moment.
Now imagine a soft, warm light above you. It glows in shades of rose, gold, and gentle seafoam green. This is the loving presence of Venus, of Aphrodite, the energy of attraction, beauty, and sacred union.
As you breathe in, see this light slowly descending toward you. As you breathe out, feel it entering your chest and filling your heart.
Let it settle there.
This is not a love you need to chase. This is the love you are.
Quietly repeat within yourself:
I am open. I am safe to receive love. I am the embodiment of love itself.
Feel this truth like warmth spreading through your chest. Notice any tightness, any old memories, any lingering ache from past heartbreaks. Do not push them away. Simply allow them to rise gently to the surface.
Now imagine the light of Venus moving through those old spaces. It does not judge. It does not force. It cleanses.
See past lovers, old attachments, and old pain dissolving like mist in the morning sun. Thank them for what they taught you, then let them drift away.
With each exhale, release what no longer belongs to your heart. With each inhale, call your energy back home to yourself.
Feel your heart becoming clearer. Softer. Lighter.
Now imagine a soft pink glow growing brighter within your chest. This is your natural magnetism. Your warmth. Your ability to attract love without effort.
Whisper within:
I release the past with compassion. I cleanse my heart with love. I welcome the love meant for me.
If you are calling in romantic union, picture love gently walking toward you. Not in urgency, not in desperation, but in peace. Feel what it would be like to be met, seen, and held in a love that feels calm and true.
If you are calling in a twin flame reunion, imagine a golden thread of light connecting your heart to theirs. See it becoming clear, strong, and open. Feel the healing moving through that thread, dissolving misunderstandings, softening old wounds, and restoring harmony in divine timing.
Do not force the outcome. Simply feel the connection surrounded by light, protected and guided.
Now return to the center of it all.
Your heart.
Feel the warmth there. The glow. The quiet pulse of life. This is the source of all attraction. This is the love that draws the right people, the right timing, the right union.
You are not blocking love. You are learning to hold it.
Take a deep breath in and feel gratitude filling your chest. Breathe out and let it expand beyond your body.
Imagine this loving energy surrounding you like a soft aura, moving with you, speaking through you, calling love toward you naturally.
Before you open your eyes, whisper one final intention:
Love flows to me. Love flows through me. I am ready to receive and to be received.
Slowly bring your awareness back to your body. Gently open your eyes, carrying this warmth with you into the rest of your day.

Find a comfortable position, either seated or lying down. Let your hands rest softly, and if it feels safe, close your eyes.
Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose⦠Hold for a moment⦠And exhale gently through your mouth.
Again, breathe in⦠and out⦠One more time, in⦠and out⦠Let your breath begin to fall into its own natural rhythm, like gentle waves against the shore.
Feel the surface beneath you supporting your whole body. Let your jaw unclench, your shoulders soften, your belly loosen. With every exhale, imagine you are melting a little more into this support, letting the day pour out of you.
Now, in your mindās eye, notice the night around you. Above, a luminous full moon hangs in a velvet sky, large and bright. Her light is soft, silvery, and kind. This is the full moon of Venus: love, beauty, self-worth, and sacred pleasure glowing in the dark.
Imagine that moonlight pouring down like liquid silver over the crown of your head. Feel it gently washing over your scalp, down the back of your neck, across your shoulders. With each breath, the light moves further, relaxing your arms, your chest, your belly, your hips, your legs, all the way to your feet.
Let this light become tinged with the soft rose-gold of Venus. See yourself bathed in a halo of pink and silver light, like a tender embrace. This is the frequency of unconditional love: nothing to prove, nowhere to perform, simply existing and being cherished.
Bring one hand, or simply your awareness, to your heart center. Feel the breath moving underneath your hand, rising and falling. Whisper inwardly or out loud: āI am willing to see myself through the eyes of love.ā
As you breathe, notice if there is any tightness, heaviness, or old ache around your heart. You do not need to fix it. Just let the full moon Venus light surround it, as if you are holding that tender place in warm, gentle hands.
With every inhale, invite in the qualities of Venus: softness, sensuality, receptivity, beauty, self-worth. With every exhale, let go of what blocks them: self-criticism, old stories of not-enough, the pressure to earn love.
Inhale: āI am worthy.ā Exhale: āI release the lie that I must prove my worth.ā
Inhale: āMy heart is a sacred home.ā Exhale: āI let go of the armor that no longer protects me.ā
Now, imagine you are standing in a moonlit garden. The full moon Venus shines above, and all around you roses are blooming: blush pink, deep red, creamy white. The air is thick with their fragrance, soft and sweet. This garden is the inner temple of your heart.
Feel the cool earth beneath your bare feet. You walk slowly along a path, noticing how the moonlight makes every petal, every leaf, shimmer. The garden does not hurry to bloom. It does not apologize for its beauty. It simply exists, wild, open, fragrant.
Ahead, you see a stone bench or a small altar bathed in moonlight. On this altar lies a single rose, glowing with pink-gold light. This rose is a symbol of your own heart, your capacity to love and be loved, to give and receive pleasure, to honor your desires.
Gently, in your mind, pick up this rose. Feel its softness against your skin. Notice the thorns along the stem, your boundaries, your discernment, your ānoā that protects your āyes.ā You do not have to choose between softness and strength. In the temple of Venus, they grow from the same stem.
Bring the rose to your heart center and let it merge into your chest, becoming a radiant blossom of light inside you. See this rose opening petal by petal with each breath, revealing more of your true self, more of your beauty, more of your longing.
Ask your heart, quietly: āWhat do I truly desire to feel in love, with myself, with others, with life?ā Notice any words, images, or sensations that arise. You might hear ācherished,ā āsafe,ā āseen,ā āwild,ā āsensual,ā āfree.ā There is no right answer. Just let your heart speak.
Now ask: āWhat am I ready to release under this full moon, so that I can receive that love?ā Perhaps it is an old story: āI am too muchā or āI am not enough.ā Perhaps it is a pattern of over-giving, people-pleasing, dimming your light, betraying your own bodyās wisdom.
See that pattern or story as a gray, smoky cloud in front of your chest. With the next few exhales, gently blow it out of your field, as if you are exhaling the smoke away. Watch as the full moon above you shines brighter, dissolving the cloud into nothing.
Whisper to yourself: āUnder this full moon and with Venus, I release what no longer honors my heart.ā āI choose to be loyal to my own softness, my own beauty, my own desire.ā
Feel now how the rose-gold light of Venus pours down even more strongly from the moon, entering your crown, flowing through your heart, and moving down into your belly. Let it settle in your womb or lower belly space, your creative center, your seat of pleasure and power. Whether you have a physical womb or not, this energetic center belongs to you.
Breathe into this space. Inhale into your lower belly, letting it gently expand. Exhale and relax the pelvic floor, the hips, the low back. Let Venus remind this part of you that pleasure is holy, that your body is not a machine but a temple.
Repeat softly: āMy body is worthy of tenderness.ā āMy pleasure is a prayer.ā āI am allowed to receive love without earning it.ā
Let these words sink in, not just into your mind, but into your cells.
Now, bring your awareness back to the whole body. From the crown of your head to the tips of your toes, you are bathed in full moon light, tinged with the pink-gold glow of Venus. You are a pillar of soft radiance, standing in your own garden of roses.
Take a moment to offer gratitude, to the moon, to Venus, to your own heart for showing up. You might silently say: āThank you, Venus, for reminding me of my worth.ā āThank you, Moon, for reflecting my light back to me.ā āThank you, body, for carrying me through this life.ā
Begin to deepen your breath now. Feel the air entering your lungs, the rise and fall of your chest. Notice the points of contact between your body and the surface beneath you.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes. Roll your shoulders, maybe circle your wrists or ankles. If it feels good, place both hands over your heart or your lower belly, sealing in this Venusian light.
When you are ready, take one last slow, nourishing breath in⦠And a long, releasing exhale outā¦
Slowly, softly, open your eyes, bringing this full moon Venus energy back with you, into your relationships, your creativity, your rituals, and the way you speak to yourself.
Your heart is a rose in moonlight. You are worthy of a love that feels like this.
Also join me in the Leo Full Venus Ritual within the Moon Goddess Temple. Work with the full moon up to 2 days after the full moon has passed. This full moon will be powerful due to an eclipse going on during the next new moon, so the energy will be potent and available for ritual probably during the entire month of February.

Meditation
Close your eyes, beloved, and let your body find a position that feels supported and at ease, seated or lying down, spine long, heart softening.
Take a slow breath in through your nose, letting the air fill your chest, your ribs, your belly. Hold for a gentle count of three. Exhale slowly through your mouth, as if you are sighing out the weight of the day.
Again: breathe in, letting your heart space rise and open. Hold. Exhale, and imagine anything heavy around your heart sliding down and out, into the earth.
One more time, deep inhale. Gentle hold. Slow exhale. Let your breath now fall into a natural, steady rhythm, like the tide moving in and out under a moonlit sky.
Now, with your eyes still closed, imagine the night around you. Above you, the Moon is full in Leo: a great golden lantern in the sky, radiant, warm, and regal. Her light does not glare; it glows, like candlelight on polished gold.
See that lunar light pouring down in a soft column, touching the crown of your head, brushing your forehead, your throat, and then resting, warm and steady, over your heart. This light is healing for you. Accept any healing your being is ready for. Each breath you take draws more of that Leo moonlight into your chest. Inhale: the light flows in. Exhale: the light settles and expands through your ribs, your shoulders, your upper back.
Now, in the center of that moonlit space in your chest, imagine a small throne. It may look like carved stone, living vines, warm wood, or pure light. Or by Venus’ grace, what about a crystal or gold throne. This is the throne of your heart, the place where your love, your courage, and your desire are meant to sit in honor. Honor your heart.
For a moment, notice: has this throne been empty? Has someone else been sitting there, another person, an old story, a fear of being ātoo muchā? Simply notice, without judgment, and with each breath, let the Leo moonlight gently clear away whatever does not belong on that throne.
Now, call Venus. Not a cartoon Valentine, but the living goddess of love and beauty, of magnetic presence and sacred desire. See her stepping into the moonbeam beside you, shimmering in rose-gold light, eyes bright and kind.
Feel her presence: warm, confident, unapologetically loving.
She places one hand on your back between your shoulder blades, one hand lightly over your heart. Her touch is both soothing and activating, like warm water and starlight at once.
Hear her voice in whatever tone feels most natural to you, and let her speak into your heart:
āYou are not here to beg for love. You are here as love. You are not here to prove your worthiness. You are here to remember it.ā
As she speaks, feel the throne in your heart becoming more solid, more real. Venus invites you now to sit upon it. With your next inhale, imagine yourself stepping forward inside your own heart, turning, and lowering yourself onto that inner throne. Feel how it supports you. Notice how it feels to sit as if you were inherently worthy of tenderness, of devotion, of being cherished.
If any resistance arises, doubts, old pain, fears about romance, or being seen, acknowledge them softly. Then see the Leo full moon above you, brightening, pouring more light into your chest, washing through those old patterns like warm, golden rain. You donāt need to fix everything in this moment; you only need to sit, and breathe, and allow.
Now bring your awareness to romantic love and union, in whatever way that is true for you right now. You might be in partnership, calling in partnership, healing from heartbreak, or simply deepening your relationship with your own soul. There is no wrong way to be here.
Gently, ask your heart: āWhat kind of love feels safe and radiant for me now? What kind of union, with another or with myself, allows me to stay on my throne?ā Do not force an answer. Simply let any sensations, images, or words float up from the heart space, carried on your breath like small petals on water.
Now feel Venus standing beside your throne, as if this full moon and the coming Valentineās season are a corridor she is walking you through. She leans close, and you hear:
āIn this month of hearts and roses, you are not a bargain to be hunted for a sale. You are an altar. Every romance that approaches you, including the one you have with your own life, must bow to this truth.ā
Let those words sink in. Feel how they change the way you sit, the way your shoulders rest, the way your chest opens. If it feels right, place your physical hand over your heart and breathe into your palm, as if you are blessing your own body with this understanding.
Now, bring to mind one simple intention for this Leo full moon with Venus, something gentle and clear: āI allow myself to be loved in ways that honor my heart.ā āI choose relationships where I can shine and feel safe.ā āI am ready to heal the story that says I must shrink to be loved.ā
Choose one sentence, or let your own arise. Repeat it silently with your breath three times.
On the first repetition, feel the words fill your chest. On the second, feel them expand through your whole body. On the third, imagine the words rising up to the full moon, to Venus, as a clear signal sent into the subtle currents of this month.
Know that as Valentineās approaches, you are not waiting passively for love to find you. You are already generating a field of love from your own enthroned heart, and that field will quietly shape the invitations, relationships, and decisions that come your way.
Take a few more breaths in the moonlit temple of your chest. See Venus smiling, knowing that this is only a beginning, a prelude to deeper ritual, deeper healing, deeper union. She touches your shoulder once more and says:
āRemember this feeling when the world starts shouting about love. Remember that you have a throne inside you. Sit here first, and let everything else come from there.ā
When you are ready, imagine the Leo full moonās light softening, becoming a gentle glow that stays inside your heart as a small, steady flame. The throne remains. Your seat is waiting whenever you close your eyes and return.
Begin to deepen your breath. Wiggle your fingers and toes. Feel the surface beneath you, the room around you.
On your next exhale, let your eyes slowly open, carrying with you the quiet radiance of your own enthroned heart, already in conversation with Venus, already preparing for the full moon and the season of love ahead.

Join Lovestar Temple where I host my rituals and offers
If you imagine a priestess starting a spiritual business, you might picture endless free time, silent mornings, long baths, and perfectly staged altars. That is not my reality. My reality is five kids who need breakfast, a sink that never empties, and a brain that holds grocery lists and goddess invocations at the same time. My reality is feeling the moon pulling on my emotions, wanting to honour her with ritual, and then realizing it is already midnight and I am exhausted. For a long time, I used that as proof that I could not be āproperly spiritualā or āreadyā for my own business.ā
Then I noticed something: the women I wanted to serve were living the same kind of life. They were not waiting in monasteries with nothing to do; they were working, parenting, caregiving, healing from religion, rediscovering their bodies after trauma or shame. They did not need a priestess who lived in a tower of perfection; they needed a priestess who knew how to pray while stirring the pot, to invoke Aphrodite while folding laundry, to speak with Persephone while brushing her teeth, to call on Hekate at the crossroads of everyday decisions. They needed a temple that would fit inside a human schedule.ā
This is where Lovestar Temple comes in. It is my answer to the question: āHow can I keep ritual in my life forever, not just when things are easy?ā For 2026, I created a Full Moon Goddess calendar and journal, not because I am organized by nature, but because I know that without a plan, my rituals will be the first thing sacrificed to exhaustion. The calendar pre-plans the altars, the archetypes, the questions, so that when life is loud, ritual is still possible. Ten minutes at the sink becomes a moon bath. A single page in a journal becomes a temple floor on which you can kneel. Ritual becomes sustainable, not fragile.ā
Fear still whispers: āWhat if no one comes? What if they judge you? What if you fail in public?ā But when those fears surface, something deeper answers: āThis was never just about success. This was about creating a home for women who feel the same ache you do.ā If you are reading this and your body longs for ritual but your life feels too full, Lovestar Temple was built with you in mind. You are invited, not as a perfect devotee, but as you are: messy, tired, hopeful, holy. In this temple, every imperfect attempt at showing up counts as worship.ā
There was a moment when I realized that if I waited to feel āready,ā Lovestar Temple would never exist. I would keep writing love poems in the cracks of my day, mothering five children, scrolling past other peopleās dreams, and telling myself I needed more time, more money, more structure, more permission. But under all of that, there was a softer, truer confession: I was afraid of being seen as what I really am, a priestess of the feminine body-temple, a woman who turned her own desire for ritual into a living sanctuary.ā
I grew up in the church, where ritual had a time, a place, and a building. I miss that sometimes: the predictable rhythm, the way you always knew when the candles would be lit and the songs would rise. That cadence shaped my nervous system. It taught me that ritual is not just āwooā; it is structure, medicine, calendar, container. But as a working mother of five, those old forms of ritual no longer fit my life. I do not have two hours to prepare elaborate altars every week. I have ten minutes in my bathroom. I have the walk from the kitchen to the laundry. I have the curve of my own hip and the softness of my own voice. Somewhere along the line, I realized: what if my body is the sanctuary now?ā
Lovestar Temple was born from that question. It is my mission-led, ongoing experiment in turning a human womanās life into a temple of love. The āTempleā is not a distant marble building; it is the way I treat my body when I am tired, the way I speak to my reflection, the way I write to you about love, goddess, and desire. It is the poetry I share on Facebook and Threads, the free ebooks I give away, the romantasy tales and goddess activations that invite you back into your own softness and power. Lovestar Temple is my promise to keep choosing this path publicly, even when my voice shakes.ā
Starting this business terrifies me because it is not a mask; it is my real heart. There is no safe distance between ābrandā and ābeing.ā So I made a quiet oath for 2026: to stop using fear as proof I should wait, and start using fear as proof that I am entering holy ground. Every time the fear voice says, āWho do you think you are?ā I answer, āI am the woman who was lonely for ritual and built herself a temple.ā And I offer that temple to you, not as something you must believe in, but as a mirror. Your body is a temple, too. Your longing is an altar. Your daily life can become a ritual of love. Lovestar Temple is simply one way I am learning to live that truth out loud, so you never have to walk back to your own temple alone.
My time was great and then we had a sad accident in the family. Sometimes we try and the lessons do not stop. Sometimes all we can do is grieve.
But if grieving is something we have to do, then we must grieve. I believe now that keeping the grieving in is dangerous, even.

The poem “Below the Shame” delves into the depths of human experience, exploring what lies beneath the often overwhelming emotion of shame. Here’s a deep dive into its meaning and layers:
Shame as a Surface Emotion
Shame is one of the most powerful and destructive emotions. It can make us feel small, unworthy, and disconnected from who we truly are. It acts like a mask, suffocating our authentic self and forcing us to hide behind walls of self-doubt, fear, and even self-loathing. The poem speaks to this by asking what lies beneath that shameāwhat’s hidden in the deepest recesses of our being once we’ve confronted and peeled back those layers.
The Killer of Personality and Authenticity
Shame is described here as a “killer”āa force that diminishes who we are. When shame takes over, it disconnects us from our core, preventing us from living authentically and expressing our true personality. People may adopt personas or hide parts of themselves to avoid judgment or rejection, and in doing so, they suppress their unique essence. This repression kills the natural vibrancy, confidence, and individuality that make us who we are. I have been there most of my life for some hidden reason. There is no shame in admitting that today.
What Lies Below Shame? Let us meditate on this…
This is the most profound part of the poemāwhat exists beyond that shame, if we dig deep enough? Below the shame lies:
Wounded Inner Child: Often, beneath shame are unresolved wounds from childhood, where feelings of inadequacy or rejection took root. The shame becomes a protective layer to guard that vulnerable part of us, but to heal, we must reach beneath and reconnect with the wounded child, offering compassion and understanding.
Truth and Vulnerability: Shame obscures our truth. Once you look beyond it, there is raw vulnerabilityāan openness that is honest and real. It is where your true self, without pretense or faƧade, exists. However, vulnerability feels dangerous, which is why shame becomes the armor, protecting that truth from being seen.
Authenticity: Beneath the shame is your authentic self, longing to emerge. It’s the version of you that isnāt held back by societal expectations, criticism, or fear of being “less than.” When you confront shame and release it, you rediscover this authentic selfāa self that is free, expressive, and unburdened.
Power: There is power beneath shame. Once the layers are peeled away, you reclaim your personal strength. You understand that you are worthy, lovable, and valuable as you are, without needing to hide or suppress parts of yourself. This empowerment comes from embracing all aspects of yourself, even the ones youāve been told to feel ashamed of.
Spiritual Perspective
For a spiritual audience, especially twin flames, pagans, or seekers, this can resonate as a journey of shadow workāconfronting the darker, hidden parts of ourselves to integrate them into the whole. Shame is often a product of past trauma, societal conditioning, or rejection, and by going “below” it, you embark on a healing journey toward self-love and acceptance.
In twin flame dynamics, the poem might speak to how both partners must confront their own shame to fully embrace the connection. Only by peeling back those layers can they reveal their truest selves to each other. Thus, healing this shame is a path to union.
Invitation
“Below the Shame” invites deep reflection on what it means to live authentically. It challenges us to look beyond the fear, judgment, and suppression that shame creates, to rediscover the core of who we areāour personality, our power, our vulnerability. By doing so, we reclaim the authenticity that shame has tried to take away.
In a world that often feels chaotic, we can easily forget this simple truth: Love heals. It’s a force that transcends time, space, and even the physical realm, connecting us deeply to one another and to the divine. For spiritual seekers, Love is more than an emotionāit is an energy, a source of profound transformation that can guide us toward inner peace, joy, and wholeness.
But how exactly does Love heal? And how can we tap into this power to bring healing into our lives and the lives of others?
1. Love as a Vibrational Energy
Love is often described as the highest vibrational frequency even though there is a vibrational scale that places other vibrations higher than Love. When we love and are loved, we raise our energetic frequency, aligning ourselves with positivity, light, and the divine essence of the universe. When we operate from a place of loveāwhether itās self-love, romantic love, or unconditional love for humanityāwe become magnets for healing. Our bodies, minds, and spirits begin to harmonize with this elevated vibration, leading to physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.
By simply tuning into love, we are tuning into a force that can melt away fear, dissolve pain, and restore balance. Love, in its purest form, is the essence of the universeās healing power.
I once went through the Love and Above Mindvalley course and learned this very fact: the vibration of love and higher is health, wealth, hope, safety….
2. Healing Through Self-Love
One of the most profound ways that love heals is through self-love. When we Love and honor ourselves, we create a sanctuary within. Self-love is the foundation of all healing because it allows us to nurture our inner being, recognizing our worth, and embracing the sacredness of our existence.
Self-love is not just about pampering or treating ourselvesāit is about forgiving ourselves, speaking kindly to ourselves, and creating space for growth. When we learn to Love ourselves, we release the toxic patterns that hold us back and begin to experience healing on the deepest level.
3. Love as a Path to Emotional Healing
Our hearts carry woundsāold hurts, grief, and unresolved emotionsāthat weigh us down and prevent us from fully experiencing life. Love has the unique ability to bring those buried emotions to the surface, allowing us to heal. Whether through the loving support of others, the embrace of a romantic partner, or the compassion we show ourselves, Love soothes the soul.
When we share our burdens, speak our truth, and allow ourselves to be vulnerable with those we trust, we begin to release emotional pain. Love holds space for us to be seen and heard without judgment. It reminds us that we are never alone in our suffering, and that healing is not only possible but inevitable when we open our hearts.
4. Love in Relationships: A Healing Bond
Relationships built on love, trust, and compassion offer profound opportunities for healing. Through meaningful connections with othersāwhether it be with a partner, family, or friendsāwe experience Love as a mirror that reflects both our light and our shadows. In these relationships, we are challenged to grow, heal old wounds, and evolve.
Romantic Love, in particular, can be a powerful vehicle for healing. It teaches us about vulnerability, acceptance, and the art of giving and receiving love. When we love someone deeply, we begin to see the sacredness in both ourselves and them. Healing happens when we embrace Love in its many formsācompassion, patience, forgiveness, and kindness.
5. Love Heals the Collective Spirit
Love doesnāt just heal individuals; it heals communities and even the world. When we extend Love beyond ourselvesāwhen we show kindness, offer a helping hand, or simply hold space for othersāwe contribute to the healing of the collective spirit. The ripple effect of Love is powerful: one act of Love can inspire countless others.
By embodying Love in our daily actions, we not only heal ourselves but also help to heal the world around us. Love has the power to break down barriers, mend broken hearts, and restore balance to a planet in need of deep healing.
6. Love as a Spiritual Practice
For those of us on a spiritual journey, Love is the cornerstone of our practice. Whether we are meditating, praying, or simply being mindful, Love is the energy that connects us to the divine. It reminds us that we are all interconnected, all part of the same sacred web of life.
Through spiritual practices we can cultivate Love as a healing force in our lives. By sending Love to ourselves, our loved ones, and even those we find difficult to Love, we participate in the flow of healing energy that transforms both our inner and outer worlds.
7. Opening Your Heart to the Healing Power of Love
Healing through Love requires us to open our hearts, even when it feels vulnerable or scary. It asks us to trust that Love is always present, even in moments of pain or uncertainty. When we open ourselves to Love, we allow the universe to work through us, guiding us toward our highest good.
So how can you open your heart to Loveās healing power? Here are a few practices:
Practice Self-Compassion: When you feel overwhelmed, speak to yourself kindly, as if you were comforting a dear friend.

Celebrating Venus Day: Embracing the Ancient Goddess on Friday the 13th
In ancient times, Friday the 13th was not the harbinger of misfortune that it is often considered today. Instead, it was a day imbued with positive significance, particularly in the context of Venus, the ancient goddess of love, beauty, and fertility. This day offers a unique opportunity to connect with the divine feminine and celebrate Venusās enduring influence.
Ok, I have to find an actual connection between Friday the 13th and Venus, in ancient times Friday was Venus’s day. Venus as Aphrodite is one if the most ancient deities and this day was celebrated as the goddess day. So I’m observing it as Venus day on steroids.
Ancient Lore and Venus
Venus, known as Aphrodite in Greek mythology, was revered across ancient cultures. She was celebrated not only for her associations with love and beauty but also for her role as a symbol of prosperity and harmony. The number 13, often seen as unlucky in modern times, had positive connotations in pre-patriarchal societies. It was associated with the lunar cycle and feminine energy, reflecting the cycles of life and nature.
In Roman times, Venus had numerous festivals, including the Veneralia, held on April 1st, and the Venerealia, dedicated to her worship. The goddess was also honored in various rites connected to love and fertility, celebrating the life-giving forces she represented.
Modern Celebrations of Venus Day
Today, Friday the 13th can be a powerful day for modern spiritual women (and anyone else) to reconnect with Venus and celebrate her essence. Here are some ways to honor this ancient goddess and integrate her influence into contemporary spiritual practices:
Rituals of Love and Beauty:
Create a Venus Altar: Set up a small altar with symbols associated with Venus such as roses, seashells, mirrors, and candles. Use these items to create a space that reflects beauty and harmony.
Offerings: Prepare offerings of flowers, honey, or sweet treats as symbols of abundance and love. These can be placed on your altar or shared with loved ones as an act of kindness.
Meditation and Reflection:
Venus Meditation: Engage in a meditation focused on self-love and empowerment. Visualize Venusās energy surrounding you, fostering a sense of beauty and confidence.
Journaling: Reflect on your personal connections to love and beauty. Write about how Venusās attributes influence your life and how you can embody them more fully.
Celebratory Activities:
Host a Gathering: Organize a gathering with friends or fellow spiritual practitioners to celebrate Venus Day. Share poetry, art, and stories that resonate with Venusās themes.
Dance and Music: Venus was often associated with celebration and joy. Dance or listen to music that uplifts and connects you to the goddessās energy.
Embrace Feminine Wisdom:
Craft and Create: Engage in creative activities such as crafting, painting, or writing that allow you to express the divine feminine energy. Venusās influence can inspire creativity and self-expression.
Learn and Share: Study the ancient lore of Venus and share your knowledge with others. Understanding the historical context can deepen your appreciation and connection to the goddess.
Embracing the Spirit of Venus
By celebrating Venus Day on Friday the 13th, modern spiritual women can reclaim the dayās ancient significance and embrace the goddessās attributes in their daily lives. This celebration is an opportunity to honor the divine feminine, nurture self-love, and connect with the enduring legacy of Venusās beauty and power.
Whether through ritual, meditation, or creative expression, let Venusās spirit guide you in celebrating love and beauty, and find joy in reconnecting with this timeless deity.
