I was bound,
Before,
Tied down,
I belonged,
Then woke up,
Hurting sore,
My broken heart,
Not my own.
I learned to be free,
I healed, I fled,
I became complete,
I grew up consciously.
I freed the wild woman
Underneath,
I’m nothing but a human
Running free.
