  • New Poetry, arts, and crafts: Ancient stream, mermaid necklaces, Spanish lesson, and more

    Dear Lovestar,

It was an intense time. This past Lion’s Gate season was very creative for me. I loved every minute of it, and the message I received from “the universe” was to create, write, and share. Luckily for me, it  came with a lot of inspiration.

The Ancient Stream: more on this ancient inspiration soon.

The Pythia: high priestess of Delphi
    Laurel heart: Greek inspired art
Aphrodite’s dress (in progress work of art)
    Aphrodite in Ancient Greek
Cleopatra by my artist daughter, Lilli because in our home education situation we talk so much about history.

    Home Education

I am trying new things for my kids education and one cool thing we’ve been doing for less than a month is taking our 3 big girls to jiu-jitsu class. While there, our oldest reads and the two little ones draw amongst other things.

I always use “style” magic for potent astrological times. For example, I made a lovely yellow dress for the summer solstice once, and I infuse my lingerie with love/ union magic. I practice infusing energy into jewels and clothing. This year I was gently pushed to take it up a notch.

    My Italian Practice

My heart lives in the sea,
    Its vastness, like my love,
    Its calm, its color,
    Its depth like my soul.

    I’m learning Italian for fun:

    • Currently taking an Italian Duolingo course
    • Listening to Italian music
    • Listening to podcasts in Italian
    • Interacting in Italian on X with Italian content
    • Doing Italian karaoke
    • Learning about the Italian language and culture

    Thanks for your visit,

    With love a light,

  • Activities to include poetry in and my new poems

My current favorite poem. My previous favorite was Interdimensional travel, which I just wrote into song form.

    Dear Lovestar,

You know I’m a poetry fanatic. Today, I will give all (but including me) some ideas to include more poetry in our lives. I will be doing some of these.

    But first, my newest poem:

    "It Starts"

    It starts with a kiss
    Or the soft breeze
    Brings me a piece
    Of you.
Or it starts with a look,
Or a page in a book
    Reminds me of you.
    It starts with a thought.
    Sometimes mine,
    Sometimes yours
    Mostly both
    Simultaneously.
    It starts with a kiss
    And the progress is quick
    Until we're on our sheets
    Making Love.

    Activities to include poetry in

**Homeschool**: I love homeschooling (my children also have tutors) and use poetry for their lessons. I studied a lot of poetry, and I want to at least introduce my children to this magic. My oldest daughter has a great writing tutor (Dr. Anthony Radice) who has a poetry study class, and I’m convincing her to take it. Currently, I’m creating a Cleopatra lesson that I’ve been working on for about one week. I’m designing it to be an inmersive experience rather than a normal class, so I’m creating 2 board games, and I have integrated visualization exercises throughout the lessons and now I’m writing a poem for Cleopatra. Cleopatra was cool. She liked poetry! It’s the least I could do for the most powerful woman in history.

**Leisure Time**: Relaxing on a hammock with a poetry book or even reading poetry online 😀 and some snacks 😋 😀 is the perfect evening of weekend activity. I read poetry every day. I write poetry most days.

**Relaxation**: Weekends offer a break from the hustle and bustle of the workweek, making it an ideal time for leisurely pursuits such as reading poetry. Few things can be as relaxing. My tip is to save poems that are relaxing to you. Reminder that you can download most of my poems on my poetry collection, though this link totally free.

**Inspiration**: Whenever I find an inspirational poem, I save it. An inspiration poem is a great and very easy to use tool for inspiration.

**Personal Rituals**: Some individuals may have personal rituals or routines that involve reading poetry on weekends, such as enjoying a cup of tea while delving into a collection of poems.

**Spiritual Rituals**: Have you noticed how spells rhyme? It’s because there’s a secret power to rhyming and poetry. Including poetry and rhyming into our spiritual rituals makes sense.

**Nature and Inspiration**: Outdoor activities and nature walks can inspire creativity and appreciation for poetry. I write poetry at the park. Reading good poetry at the park would be awesome, too.

**Poetry in therapy**: Use poetry as a therapeutic tool for self-expression and reflection in counseling or support groups or personal reflections.

**Journaling**: It not only looks good on your journal, remember, there’s a secret power in poetry. If you don’t write poetry, simply write on your journal favorite poems or excerpts of poetry that speak to you or make you feel a desired way.

**Arts and Crafts**: Another use for poetry where it just makes sense. Practice your calligraphy, create artwork for your wall of a poem, dedication cards, use a printed poem as background for any art form, create mixed media art including a printed poem… the possibilities are endless. Please leave me a comment with additional ideas to include in this list.

**Romance**: What are poets most know for? Being romantics. Poems can offer insight, advice, inspiration, or a new energy that could potentially enhance your love life. I use my poetry 💯 percent to manifest the dream union I have today. But even before I fell in love, I loved to indulge in the sweet energy of a romantic poem.

**Learning a new language **: When you learn a new language, you study a lot of boring stuff. I’m suggesting you should study something fun like the poetry and/ or music I’m that language. It’ll be much more fun and it’ll help with learning about the culture, too.

    What did you think?

Will you be using any of these tips?

    Did I miss anything?

Thank you so much for reading, and if you have a topic for a future topic, please leave me a comment.

    With love and light,

    Eve

  • Poem about writer’s block

    Hey friend, remember me?

I took a long, long, long break post giving birth which was a phenomenal experience. My baby girl is 4 months now.

Well, here is a little poem I whipped up 😍

Miraquill is the app where I share my poems.

Here is what I said about this poem on Miraquill:

  • Full Moon Eclipse. Creativity Soaring.

The full moon eclipse came full of creativity for creatives like me. What about you?

Poetry written on full moon day, May 26th 2021

“Your Magnetism” TF poem by Eve Lovestar

Quotes written on full moon day

    Intuition quote by Eve Lovestar

On the day of the eclipse, I wanted to dress cute, so I wore a new white blouse and a big bow on my head using my mermaid band. I listened to reiki Rachael multiple times during the day, she did an incredible full moon eclipse activation and meditation and it was so great when I did it right after I saw the full moon eclipse that I did it all day afterwards, I did it as a guided walking meditation and also I played it very low all day so that my subconscious could get plenty of activation.

Eve Lovestar, before meditating under a tree

The energy of the eclipse became available before today and will stay for about six months, according to astrology. I felt the creative light this past week and started a painting of a sun. This painting was inspired by a vision I had in 2020, almost a year ago. The vision was a beautiful sun and I decided to paint it but didn’t during almost an entire year. Well, this week out of the blue, I decided to paint! I’m not an experienced painter as I am illustrating with other materials and this is probably I didn’t take action on this creative prompt until the energy said, it’s divine timing, what are you waiting for? Paint! I had remembered all along to paint it but action came this week only. My daughters painted with me also, and they finished a lovely painting.

Sun painting work in progress, during eclipse portal.

    Feeling bliss and blessed,

    Eve
