    Dear Lovestar,

    I have been having fun on Twitter (X) sharing my poetry and wisdom. I shared this long poem in increments:

    “The Eternal Flame Romantic”

    I wrote this rather large poem yesterday and shared the stanzas on Twitter. Today, I’ll speak about this portion (I’ll call this stanza “Frantic”):

    I know that you’re not romantic
    Not expressive, but there’s magic
    In your touch. I am frantic.
    And I am yours if you want me.

    I followed a few poets and writers to curate my X feed. I followed back an Italian poetry lover who might also be a poet. I just followed the guy, and there’s a language barrier, so I’m not certain.

    He shared one of the short poems I shared on his feed with an Italian comment. I love languages, and since Spanish is my first language, I understood some of the words because I already knew that Spanish and Italian share similar words. I have listened to Italian musicians since childhood, many sing in Spanish as well.

    I took advantage of the situation and used AI to translate the poem to Italian because I don’t speak Italian, and AI does a great job of translation, unlike Google Translate. I then shared the poem with him and asked him in Italian to proofread it.

    This experience went well. The man said the translation was good, but he wanted to make an edit, and he polished the translation. His result was this:

    The Italian poet’s edit translated to English:

    💕💕💕
    “I know you’re not romantic,
    Not expressive at all,
    But there’s magic
    In your caress.
    I feel frantic
    And I’ll be yours if you want me.”

    It seems that he changed your touch for “your caress.” And I am yours if you want me for “I’ll be yours if you want me.” Additionally, he added “at all” after expressive. Same but in different words. I believe he edited it for rhyme and rhythm in Italian.

    Translated into Spanish:

    💕💕💕
    “Sé que no eres romántico
    Para nada expresivo,
    Pero hay magia
    En tu caricia.
    Me siento frenética
    Y seré tuya si me quieres.”

    Afterward, I noticed the Italian poet translated this other poem and more:

    Dear Lovestar,

    I was very needy for attention, and you could have deduced it by the needy poetry I was writing. I have the highest inclination and need for romance, and by a less romantic lover, I could be seen as needy.

    I wondered yesterday…

    Do I get upset that I’m not receiving the attention I crave or do I kindly request it. He is a Heart Harmony romantic, otherwise known as a Secret romantic.

    I decided to go for the kind request since the arguments have not worked for me.

    I asked him to put me on his to-do list!

    He laughed and then said a bunch of cool and sexy things with the dark humor twist of a Scorpio! I was so emotional that I shed a tear.

    Told him he floored me with his poetry!

    It’s not poetry… he asserted.

    But I disagreed. So I turned it into a poem.

    I learned a lot of Latin last night. Today, I keep on thinking of words and phrases! It was very cool. My children don’t want to learn an ancient language, not in use. My partner Scorpio thinks learning a language highly in use I’d best, such as Chinese: forget that! I’m not learning Chinese! No intention whatsoever! I’m learning Latin for fun.

  • Romance and sex. A linguistic poem by an Eternal Flame romantic. Romance Level Quiz

    Dear Lovestar,

    I’m learning Latin! 😌 😆 🤣

    It’s kind of true but just for fun.

    Anyway, I wrote this little something:

    Romance and Sex

    I have tried everything
    To not think about you today.
    Not because I don’t love
    To think of you in this way.
    But you hold captive my brain
    And I just can’t concentrate.


    So, I tried learning Latin
    Just to keep you out of mind
    I learned that Latin is parent
    Of languages such as mine:
    Spanish, called Romance…
    Then I thought of you again.
    I started learning the numbers:
    Unus, Duo, Tres…
    Wait, six is sex?
    And there I was again
    Writing poetry for vos.

    Vos = you in Latin.

    I really wanted to end the poem by saying: poetry for você (a Portuguese word for you) I hear this word in Brazilian songs and I love Brazil, Portuguese, Samba, and I love você!

    Latin vocabulary:

    Amor – Love (Also Spanish)

    Lux – Light (Luz in Spanish)

    One – Unus (Uno in Spanish)

    Two – Duo (Dos in Spanish)

    Three – Tres (also in Spanish)

    Six – Sex (apparently it’s pronounced something like seks) (Seos in Spanish

    Et – and (y in Spanish)

    Femina – woman (I had heard this before/ reminded today on my first lesson) (mujer in Spanish)

    Vos/ Tu – You (tú in Cuba and informal Spanish/ Vos in Argentina and extremely formal Spanish/ usted is formal)

    That’s it for my Latin lesson before someone gets offended… teach me if I made a mistake. 🙏 🙏 🙏

    This is a linguistic thing that I’m trying today. It has been fun:

    I translated a poem to Italian with AI (sharing that in the next post)

    Then, an Italian poet edited the AI translated poem

    Then the italian poet translated other poems of mine

    Then, the Italian poet (I share his Twitter handle on my next post) translated other poetry to Italian while I thanked him for the free Italian lesson.

    I read the Italian poems desperately trying to understand. Since Italian and Spanish, my first language, share the Latin root, there are lots of similar words. I only know some words and rare phrases in Italian.

    I then did some research into the similar words in Italian/ Spanish/ Portuguese, which is my favorite language.

    I really want to learn Hindi, but it’s so hard. I researched everything about the Hindi script, which is lovely but so difficult. I read so much about Hindi and Sanskrit, the language of my dreams.

    Then, I downloaded language learning apps

    On Duolingo, I searched for Hindi and didn’t find it! But Latin was an option.

    I was doing this for fun anyway! So, I chose Latin for learning on Duolingo.

    As soon as the Latin lesson started, I was happy it wasn’t Hindi! I was acing the lesson. Eventually, I made many mistakes, of course, as it was my very first time. I learned a lot of new words, and as long as I keep on coming back, I know I can learn a lot of Latin. I trust myself that way and I believe I can learn anything I want.

    There’s only one problem: I don’t like the Romans!

    But I like ancient languages, and Latin is the root of Spanish! So I might settle for Latin.

    My dream: Learning Sanskrit and reading the ancient poetry and divine texts! ✨️

    But, I’m sure there’s Latin poetry. I’ll look right now!

    In this post, I will expand on the romantic inclinations of the second level of romantic: The Heart Harmony romantics, which I’ve also called the secret romantics.

    They are romantic. They simply don’t show it. They might be men, or shy, or not spiritual, or hurt by previous love partners, or stoics, or Scorpios etc. Obviously, none of these are bad!

    This is a lovely kind of romantic ❤️ but you might not know how your partner feels about you if they’re a secret romantic! No worries, though, I will tell you how they feel in my poem below! I channeled them!

    I believe my partner falls into this category, although I realize he has a bit of an Eternal Flame in him but very secretly. This suggests that the levels of romance blend and some traits may be shared. I’ll remember this for future reference.
