  • The romance level quiz. I am an Eternal Flame & my lover is a Heart Harmony romantic.

    Dear Lovestar,

The Romance Level Quiz by Eve Lovestar

I created this quiz to help you determine your romantic level 😉. I have identified 3 levels of romantics:

    1. The extreme romantic: The Eternal Flame romantics: We breathe and eat romance. 46 to 60 points
    2. The secret romantic: Heart’s Harmony romantics: They think romance but don’t talk it. 26 to 45 points
    3. The least romantic: Calm Waters romantics: Are they even romantic? 12 to 25 points

    Why take my quiz

Understand your partner better and understand how much romance they can handle. Get inspired.

With an understanding of your own romantic level versus your partner, you can work towards enhancing your relationship. You can use the insights gained from my quiz to communicate your needs and desires more effectively and create a more fulfilling romantic connection with your partner.

I intend to develop informative and educational resources for each romance level that will provide you practical tips for enhancing your love life. These resources will cover topics such as communication skills, romantic gestures, maintaining intimacy, and navigating relationship challenges. Ask for help in the comments.

Overall, taking the quiz and exploring the different romance levels can be a steppingstone towards personal growth, relationship enhancement, and a deeper understanding of romance and love.

Take this quiz and figure out how romantic you are ❤️ 😍 💖

    1. If you are in a garden for an event, what’s your first thought?
       a) The flowers are beautiful and may remind you of someone special. You enjoy their beauty, take pictures, and even smell them.
       b) “Flowers are nice, but they’re just plants.” You don’t care if you are a garden or not.
       c) You do not like flowers. You avoid them, make sure nobody takes pictures of you at the garden, and leave as soon as possible.

    2. You’re walking in the rain with someone you care about. What crosses your mind?
       a) “This is so romantic, like a scene from a movie.” You imagine yourself dancing in the rain. You slow down and enjoy the experience.
       b) “I hope we don’t get too wet and wish you had an umbrella.” You walk faster.
       c) “I do not like the rain. My hair is wet. ” You might get upset or run to safety.

    3. What’s your reaction when you see someone reading a love poem in public?
       a) “How beautiful! I wish I could express myself like that.” You stop and listen, maybe record them and tip them. Tears may appear if you resonate with the poem.
       b) “That’s a bit cheesy for my taste.” You ignore it and continue on your way.
       c) “I wonder if they’re doing that for attention.” You shake your head, and you might judge them.

    4. Imagine you receive a heartfelt handwritten letter. How do you feel?
       a) Warmth and appreciation, it’s such a thoughtful gesture. You feel special and save the letter for as long as possible.
       b) It’s nice, but an email would have been quicker. How much time did they spend on this? You might feel obligated to keep it for a while but eventually might lose it.
       c) Mild surprise, handwritten letters are rare these days. This much work for something going in the trash! You might not even complete reading it. If it’s cutesy, you will roll your eyes.

    5. How do you feel about stargazing with a romantic partner?
       a) It’s incredibly romantic, a chance to connect under the vast night sky. I’d hold hands and slowly lean into them. Eventually, we’d share a kiss, and an I love you.
       b) It sounds okay, but I’m not sure it’s worth the effort. I would rather stay in and watch a movie or even do the dishes, which sounds like a better use of our time.
       c) Will there be bugs? Eww. Let’s not.

    6. What’s your reaction to witnessing a marriage proposal in a public place?
       a) “How magical! I hope they have a lifetime of happiness.” You take pictures, congratulate them, and tell everyone on social media.
       b) “That’s a bit too public for my taste.” You look away and try to ignore it.
       c) “I wonder if they planned this just for social media.” You think they will not last together.

    7. How do you feel about cuddling while watching a movie?
       a) It’s the perfect way to feel close and connected and the only way to watch a movie. I watch movies just to cuddle.
       b) It’s okay, but sometimes I get uncomfortable. Or it will lead to more.
       c) I prefer to sit apart and focus on the movie. This is movie time. Cuddle time is always tomorrow.

    8. What’s your ideal way to spend Valentine’s Day?
       a) A romantic dinner followed by a moonlit walk. Home-cooked meals, red dresses, poetry performances, romantic music, and special gifts. Every year is different!
       b) It’s just another day, nothing special. We will enjoy some intimate moments, that’s all!
       c) I make the point of doing nothing romantic on that day. I also don’t know the date it’s celebrated on. I also never do anything romantic…

    9. You receive an unexpected gift from someone you’re dating. How do you react?
       a) With genuine delight and gratitude. I immediately thank them, and they know I loved it!
       b) It’s nice, but I’m not sure how to respond. They might not know if I liked their gift.
       c) I feel a bit awkward and unsure if I should reciprocate. I don’t like them as much anymore. They might be trying too hard. I avoid them. They might think I don’t like their gift but they should know I don’t do gifts this soon!

    10. How do you feel about love songs?
       a) They’re incredibly moving and resonate with my emotions. I listen to as many love songs as possible. I’m much more romantic than most romantic songs! I should be a songwriter.
       b) They’re okay, but I don’t pay much attention to them. Music is music.
       c) They can be cheesy and over-the-top. I prefer any non romantic songs. Romance is for little girls!

      b) “I do not resonate with this poem! Soulmates do not exist, and if they did, we would all know by now.”
      c) “This poem is so cheesy.” It really sounds ridiculous 🙄 😒 😐…. getting off this blog ASAP!

    12. Which quote resonates with you?
       a) “Our Love is written in the stars”

    THE ROMANCE LEVELS

46 to 60 points: The Eternal Flame: Most intense romantic. We believe in twin flames/ soulmates and fall in love at first sight.

The Eternal Flame is the most romantic level. Individuals in this category have the highest degree of romantic inclination and experience a deep and everlasting passion for romance. It implies a strong and enduring connection to romantic ideals and gestures.

Individuals who fit into the “Eternal Flame” category are deeply passionate about romance and love. They often prioritize emotional connection and intimacy in their relationships. Here are some characteristics that might describe them:

    1. **Hopeless Romantics:** They believe in the power of love and often express themselves through grand gestures and heartfelt expressions of affection.

    2. **Emotionally Invested:** They are deeply invested in their relationships, cherishing every moment and valuing the emotional bond they share with their partner.

    3. **Creative and Thoughtful:** They constantly strive to surprise and delight their partners with thoughtful gestures, whether it’s writing love letters, planning romantic getaways, or creating personalized gifts.

    4. **Sensitive to Beauty:** They appreciate the beauty in the world around them, finding inspiration in nature, art, and music, which they often incorporate into their romantic gestures.

    5. **Believers in Destiny:** They may believe in soulmates or the idea that certain people are destined to be together, which fuels their passion and commitment to finding and nurturing love.

Overall, individuals in the “Eternal Flame” category are guided by their unwavering belief in the transformative power of love and their dedication to keeping the flame of romance burning bright in their lives.

26 to 45 points: Heart’s Harmony: The Secret Romantic. They think it but don’t speak romance

For the second romance level, let’s consider an option that reflects a moderate level of romantic inclination, perhaps something like “Heart’s Harmony.” This name suggests a balance between romance and practicality, where individuals appreciate love and connection but may not necessarily embody the intense passion of the “Eternal Flame” category.

Individuals who fit into the “Heart’s Harmony” category strike a balance between romance and practicality in their approach to relationships. Here are some characteristics that might describe them:

    1. Balanced Approach: They value romance and emotional connection in their relationships but also recognize the importance of practical considerations and maintaining a sense of balance in their lives.
    2. Thoughtful and Considerate: They express their affection for their partners through meaningful gestures and acts of kindness, such as remembering important dates, offering support during difficult times, and showing appreciation for their partner’s efforts.
    3. Communication Skills: They prioritize open and honest communication in their relationships, seeking to understand their partner’s needs and concerns while also expressing their own thoughts and feelings effectively.
    4. Adaptability: They are flexible and adaptable in their approach to romance, recognizing that relationships require compromise and adjustment to navigate the ups and downs of life together.
    5. Appreciation for the Little Things: They find joy and fulfillment in the everyday moments shared with their partner, whether it’s cooking dinner together, taking walks, or simply enjoying each other’s company.

Overall, individuals in the “Heart’s Harmony” category cultivate a relationship environment where love and practicality coexist, fostering a sense of mutual respect, understanding, and contentment in their romantic lives.

46 to 60 points: Calm Waters: Most likely to not take this quiz. Are they even romantic?

For the lowest level name, we want to convey an absence or minimal presence of romantic inclination. How about “Calm Waters”? This name suggests a serene and tranquil state, where romantic feelings may exist but are subdued or infrequent.

Individuals who fit into the “Calm Waters” category tend to have a more reserved or subdued approach to romance. Here are some characteristics that might describe them:

    1. Pragmatic Outlook: They tend to approach relationships with a practical mindset, focusing on practicalities rather than grand gestures or intense displays of affection.
    2. Independence: They value their independence and may prioritize personal pursuits and interests over romantic relationships.
    3. Reserved Expression of Affection: While they may experience romantic feelings, they may not express them openly or frequently, preferring to keep their emotions private.
    4. Preference for Stability: They seek stability and predictability in their relationships, valuing a sense of calm and tranquility over excitement or passion.
    5. Contentment with Solitude: They are comfortable spending time alone and may not feel a strong need for constant companionship or romantic involvement.

Overall, individuals in the “Calm Waters” category may appreciate romance in a more subdued or understated manner, finding contentment in the quiet moments and subtle gestures of connection within their relationships.

    This was fun!

According to my “research,” I’m as romantic as it gets! If someone is as romantic as me, let me know please, let’s be friends

  • Eclipse art and reflection

    Dear Lovestar,

The solar eclipse is a partial one here in Arizona, but I’m still out under the sun and enjoying the new fabulous energy.

Partial Solar Eclipse that will not harm your vision: Eclipse Art by Eve Lovestar

This was my view of the sun. I couldn’t take a good picture, so I drew it to explain to others.

I will draw this on my new poetry journal, but u had to draw my first sketch right after the experience.

    Eclipse reflection

I even explained to my beloved Scorpio that we always get into a fight prior to the eclipse. By now, we have made up and are more in love than ever.

There’s always a huge emotional trigger event for us before an eclipse, and once we get over it, there is a healing that occurs when we’re better off because of it.

    Did you see the eclipse?

Where are you in the world?

Did you feel the shift in the energy?

    With love and light,

    Eve, loving art

  • Romance (1). How I meet my unmet need for romance. Intro

    Dear Lovestar,

I am feeling so romantic today! I want to lounge on the couch with my lover. I want to kiss and be kissed so gently. I want a warm embrace, and I want to make love under a full moon.

I want to receive a love letter. I want someone to dedicate me a song. I want to receive a poem.

I want to dance around in a red ruffle dress. I want to wear a flower or my already romantically long hair. I want pearls on my neck.

This is starting to sound like a poem…

I want to hold hands. I want to look into someone’s eyes and discover their soul. I want to feel even deeper.

That is why I come online and talk to you. Thank you, fellow romantic, for receiving my bold yet humble gift of romance.

Romance is an unmet need that I have. My lover is not romantic like that. He accepts attention, but he’s a stoic…

I’m guessing that lots of humans have an unmet need around romance, and I have a solution.

    You be romantic!

I’m feeling romantic, so I did this:

    • I went for a little walk in the park
    • I let my hair down and felt cute
    • I went under the sun
    • I took pictures of bugs I shared with my lover, and we talked about them
    • I sat against my favorite tree, which I’ve blogged about before in the clean-up of the park post I shared
    • I took pictures of myself on this tree
    • I sent my lover’s the pictures
    • I shared a joke with him
    • And I talked to you. Thank you for listening
We believe it’s the spotless lady beetle
Oh, I should have smiled. No worries, I am smiling now. 😊
I am not taking my shoes off here, but oh how I wish I was in my private garden.
My best friend, the tree, is such a romantic! We’re perfect for each other.

I have decided to romance myself and to share my gift of romance with other romantics.

In other words, Scorpio, my dear partner, doesn’t have to change to meet my need! I’ll meet my own romantic need. He does meet my Love and certainly lovemaking needs. Also, my friendship and conversation needs.

I am not blaming my beloved Scorpio for not being a romantic, and I understand him for it 100 percent. He is but a victim of this cruel world.

The problem is not the individual people who are not romantic. The problem is the setting we’re playing in.

This is a huge topic for me. To not bore you, I’ll continue on another post.

    Are you a romantic, too?

How do you meet your need for romance?

    Is your person a romantic?

    With love and light,

Eve, creating tools to satisfy my hunger for romance.

  • Have a difficult conversation with a love partner that fosters love, connection, and union. Part 2.

    Dear Lovestar,

Picture this: a couple is having a hard conversation. They love each other very much, and because of that, they’ve been avoiding this conversation, and by now, it’s worse. This is my love and I…

She gets emotional and calls him insensitive. He complains that she’s too emotional and overreacts. She gets triggered and overreacts. He gets offended and withdraws. They don’t talk to each other for a week and don’t resolve the issue. They try to act like it didn’t happen, but there is a loss of trust from unresolved issues.

How should we have difficult conversations? They are unavoidable in love relationships if we intend to deepen the connection?

  • Have a difficult conversation with a love partner that fosters love, connection, and union.

    Dear Lovestar,

Can we have a difficult conversation with our love partner while focusing on love, connection, and union? I believe it’s all in the energy we go into the conversation with.

In fact, the intention we have going into the conversation alone doesn’t manifest the result. Triggers occur during difficult conversations. We can get triggered, or they can get triggered. Also, if our ego is involved, a fight might be the result. A misunderstanding so serious can occur that loving partners can up to break up during a tough conversation.

Up until now, my beloved and I have not been the best at communication. We mean well, but we’re both loners, we both had issues going into our relationship, and we’re both moody water signs. We misunderstand each other frequently. Now we know not to get emotional over a misunderstanding but to have a productive conversation instead.

I mean no judgment to anyone having an issue with this. I am learning this now. I write about the things I have learned the hard way mostly. I have learned how to have a difficult conversation with my lover, and we can come out of it with a deeper connection. I am teaching you what I have learned.

It’s not easy to be conscious when we feel disrespected, hurt, or emotional. However, what I’m suggesting is exactly to go into a difficult conversation consciously. Read through the list below, and you’ll notice that you will need to be conscious to be able to handle yourself in a way that you’ll manifest the best outcome for both parties.

I will elaborate further in tomorrow’s post.

Tips for having conscious, difficult conversations in love

Today, I offer you tips for having a difficult conversation with your love partner while focusing on deepening your connection and strengthening your love and union:

    1. **Choose the Right Time and Place:** Find a time when both of you are relaxed and free from distractions. Choose a quiet and private space where you can talk openly without interruptions. Drop your cell phones.

    2. **Set the Right Intentions:** Approach the conversation with the intention of understanding each other better and strengthening your relationship rather than blaming or accusing.

    3. **Use “I” Statements:** Express your thoughts, feelings, and concerns using “I” statements to avoid sounding accusatory. For example, say, “I feel…” instead of “You make me feel…”.

    4. **Active Listening:** Practice active listening by fully focusing on what your partner is saying without interrupting. Show empathy and understanding by reflecting back what you hear to ensure you understand correctly. Don’t be thinking of your response while they talk.

    5. **Express Empathy:** Show empathy towards your partner’s feelings and perspectives, even if you disagree. Validate their emotions and let them know you understand how they feel. Tell them something like “I understand how you’re feeling misunderstood” or “I understand how you could feel disrespected even though it wasn’t my intention.”

    6. **Be Honest and Transparent:** Be honest about your feelings and concerns, even if they are difficult to express. Transparency builds trust and intimacy in the relationship. Practice. Tell them you’re having a hard time expressing this.

    7. **Focus on Solutions:** Instead of dwelling on the problem, focus on finding solutions together. Brainstorm ideas and compromises that work for both of you to resolve the issue. Think of the future rather than the past.

    8. **Maintain Calmness:** Stay calm and composed during the conversation, even if emotions run high. Take deep breaths and pause if needed to regain composure before continuing. Take a break if needed. Do not shout!

    9. **Practice Patience and Understanding:** Understand that difficult conversations take time and may require multiple discussions to reach a resolution. Be patient with each other and avoid rushing the process.

    10. **End on a Positive Note:** Conclude the conversation on a positive note, reaffirming your love and commitment to each other. Express gratitude for your partner’s willingness to engage in open communication. Hugs and caressing or a kiss and an “I love you” should end the conversation.

Remember, difficult conversations can be challenging, but they also present opportunities for growth and deeper connection in your relationship. Approach them with love, compassion, and a willingness to understand each other better.

I already had a difficult conversation with my lover, and I realized that I’ve been keeping a lot inside to keep the peace. The buildup was upsetting our peace, though…

So, I’ll be using these tips much more often.

This weekend, we have a date to chat 💛 ❤️ 😍

  • Twin Flame Rituals. Twin Flame Tools.

    Dear Lovestar,

Continuing on my latest twin flame union tools series, today I bring you ideas for simple rituals to manifest and strengthen your union.

I don’t do a lot of Magick. But I do a lot of little things that help. I intend to be more intentional about my magick practices, and twin flame union is always my goal. Today, I’ll marry the 2.

    Beginner Twin Flame Rituals

Here are eight beginner twin flame rituals that are simple, cost-effective, and can help manifest and promote union:

    1. **Mirror Meditation**: Sit facing a mirror with your twin flame’s photo or representation nearby. Gaze into the mirror and visualize your twin flame’s presence. Send them love and positive energy while affirming your union. This practice fosters connection and alignment.

    2. **Candle Ritual**: Light a candle symbolizing your twin flame connection. As it burns, visualize your union growing stronger and more vibrant. Speak aloud or write down affirmations of love, unity, and manifestation. Allow the candle to burn out naturally to seal your intentions.

    3. **Heart-Centered Visualization**: Find a quiet space and close your eyes. Imagine a golden thread connecting your heart to your twin flame’s heart. Visualize this thread growing brighter and stronger with each breath, uniting you in love and harmony. Spend a few minutes each day in this visualization.

    4. **Nature Connection**: Spend time outdoors with the intention of connecting with nature and your twin flame’s energy. Take a walk in a park or forest, focusing on the beauty around you. As you observe nature, feel your twin flame’s presence and visualize your union blossoming like the natural world.

    5. **Gratitude Ritual**: Create a gratitude journal specifically for your twin flame journey. Each day, write down three things you’re grateful for related to your union. This practice cultivates a positive mindset and aligns your energy with abundance and manifestation.

    6. **Letter Writing**: Write a letter to your twin flame expressing your love, intentions, and desires for your union. Be honest and heartfelt in your words. You can choose to send the letter energetically or physically, trusting that your message will reach your twin flame on a soul level.

    7. **Soul Connection Visualization**: Sit in a comfortable position and close your eyes. Visualize a sacred space where you and your twin flame meet on a soul level. Explore this space together (I always choose a gorgeous garden), communicate telepathically, and exchange love and energy. This practice strengthens your soul connection and promotes union.

    8. **Moon Manifestation Ritual**: Harness the energy of the moon to amplify your intentions for union. On the night of the new moon, write down your desires for your twin flame relationship on a piece of paper. Place the paper under a clear quartz crystal or in a special box. Revisit your intentions each month, allowing the moon’s cycles to support your manifestation efforts.

These rituals are designed to be accessible to beginners and can be customized to suit your unique spiritual path and beliefs. Remember to approach them with an open heart and trust in the power of your connection with your twin flame.

  • 3 simple steps to be more feminine this week

    Dear diary,

Being more feminine is a goal of mine. I don’t have an end goal, but it’s a constant progression.

I ditched feminism because I had felt that I was better than men for too many years, and this caused separation in my union with my lover, Scorpio.

What I want now is to be more feminine because I now feel that being a harsh feminist made me less feminine.

I did notice that as I became more feminine, my lover became more masculine. Additionally, I feel safer, more abundant, more empowered, more powerful, and I feel more love. And I’m obviously a better mom now.

3 things to make me feel more feminine this week:

    • Spiritual self care: I plan on taking a delicious bath today. I added flower essential oils to my soap, shampoo, and conditioner, and the lovely smell is making me want to spend more time in the bath. I’m going back to the basics here as I have written at length about taking spiritual baths, and I have had very spiritual experiences in that bath. I have been cleaning and organizing my bathroom, and this will help me feel more feminine: spending time in a beautiful space, smelling like flowers, dressing up afterwards.
    • Deep cleaning my house and de-cluttering: loving my house makes me feel very feminine.
    • Expressing myself vulnerably: I have made a date with my partner to have a deep chat. There are lots of things I need to get off my chest, and this will make me feel more calm and relaxed, and it should deepen our connection, which should make me feel beloved and thus more feminine.

What makes you feel most feminine?

As a bonus, I’m making my kitchen my space. I never liked being in the kitchen, and I hated doing the dishes. I was able to convince myself to love cooking and especially cooking very fancy and complex meals. I was also able to teach myself to bake. I’m now, as I said, jokingly brainwashing myself to love doing the dishes because I only want to do the things that I love.

I put a diffuser right behind my sink, and I add my fanciest oils, Rose, Jasmin, and Geranium, which are my perfumes (together with lavender) to do the dishes. Now, as I do the dishes, I smell my perfumes, which are also the most relaxing oils to me. I’m a flower girl!

I only like to clean with music on and I’ve been singing and dancing in the kitchen more than ever.

We bought new dishes that I love to touch and look at, so washing them is a breeze, and it has worked wonderfully! Best transformation this month.

Finally, I’m allowing myself to watch TV. I think TV is a waste of time, and I don’t other than Naked and Afraid. Well, I can see the TV from my sink… whatever works.

A rewiring of my neurons is happening, and my house is so grateful. I’m grateful because now I don’t have to force myself to do human work. I love my time doing it, and I’m enjoying myself.

    With love and light,

Eve, with my cleanest and best smelling house ever
