  • Tiny Poems With Big Bang Power

    Dear Lovestar,

    I was challenged to write a haiku.

    I only know a haiku is a type of poem of Japanese origin that consists of 3 lines. I also know that I don’t know what a haiku is.

    But I was challenged to write a haiku.

    I used to think haiku wasn’t poetry. How could you possibly have a poem in three lines?

    But, my mind has expanded.

    I still don’t know how to write a haiku!

    But before I start to count syllables, I will practice writing a poem in 3 lines. ( I know haiku couts syllables per line, but I don’t know the specifics yet)

    This practice will solidify in me the idea that 3 lines could be an entire thought and can really pack a punch.

    This poem is a response to “Islands of Pain.” I was interviewed by a poet on X today, and we talked at large about the meaning of the poem.
    This was our interview, and it was a profound conversation about our experiences with poetry, Elevaqua through poetry, and an in-depth explanation of my poem “Islands of Pain”
    To counter the issue with us becoming Islands of Pain, I suggested that we build a bridge over the water if we like solid things. In the poem, I declared that I’d like to shake the tectonic plates, and this imagery means the hidden, secret connections that connect all humans that we can’t see.
    Same concept as above to get over the waters (same concept as elevaqua and, you’ll see this word again)

    Rewrote this previously shared quote to a 3 line poem
    Again, with “Islands of Pain” because it’s my most meaningful poem.
    Brota is a gorgeous verb, and it’s what a spring does as it’s coming out of the mountain. I don’t know if there’s an equivalent as gorgeous in English. I’m looking for a similar old English word, but it may be something entirely different.

  • Deep Love. Sexy, romantic poem and a fun way to learn Spanish

    Dear Lovestar,

    I’ve always dreamt about being a teacher. Teaching English to people I know who need to learn it is something I want to do really badly!

    Writing poetry is my gift.

    I decided to mix my wish and my gift, and now, I have decided to use my romantic poetry to help people learn English.

    Dear Lovestar,

    I’ve been very creative in the last week.

    The creative process gets easy when I’m feeling creative, obviously.

    During the times when I’m uninspired, I don’t write poetry. It’s interesting that I can go a month without any poetry writing when I’m out of sorts, and by contrast, I can write several poems a day when I’m feeling creative.

  • Radical Self Love. Part 2.

    Dear Lovestar,

    Continuing on my radical Self Love  writings, I am going to expand on this concept and how it has helped me as much as time allows.

    In the meantime, I’ll leave you with a new poem on this topic. Read my radical self Love quote on my previous post. Please let me know if this topic helps you and if you need self-love writing prompts.

    Do you struggle with this topic? I can’t be the only person who at times breaks under my own expectations…

    Radical Self-Love

    I would want to be a man
    If only just for a day
    To find me and love myself,
    And heal together all the way.

    I would allow myself to be free.
    I would go the distance to get to know me.
    I would bring me flowers and write me poems.
    I would love myself to the end.

    I would take my time not to scare me.
    I would learn my secrets to take care of them.

    If you didn’t enjoy this poem, consider whether you would date yourself or make love to yourself or marry yourself. We all want Love (I believe you would not be on this blog if you didn’t), but are we embodying love? Do we feel worthy of love? Are we expecting from another something we are unable to give to ourselves?

    This is why Love starts with self-love. If we’re unable to love ourselves as the truly wonderful creatures we are, then, should we expect another, let’s say, a magnificent male to love us? According to the laws of the universe, we receive what we are.

    Self-love manifests true love

    Hey, it’s Aries season now. Officially, it’s not a romantic time. I so miss Pisces season, my favorite time of the year!

    And I was beaten by the eclipse energy! It was such a difficult time, but after about a week of crying, I have healed and upgraded myself and figured a way to make my union even stronger. How have you been feeling?

    For many different reasons I have in the past suffered (at times) of low self steem.

  • My Poetry Journal. The Love Quotes. # 3 is exactly 💯 my situation with my Scorpio

    Dear Lovestar,

    I have been working on a new poetry journal, and honestly, my perfectionism is affecting me so deeply already! I only did a small amount of work and as good as I did (I wrote several brand new poems, and my handwriting was better than ever before)… all I noticed was the mistakes I made, and noticing the mistakes made me make more mistakes! And worse, I stopped the journaling…

    I was even wondering if I should discard the pages I filled out and start again. I definitely didn’t want to share my imperfect work.
