The role of the male dancer is
to enhance his partner's beauty: 
he shows her off to the crowd, 
lifts her, turns her around and around 
causing her dress to fly, 
her mind to fizz 
and stop working for a bit.
If you have the eyes to see 
and the power to resist 
to stare at her flying legs 
watch the dancers' face: 
she is in another dimension, 
there's no other way to explain 
and he receives all the pleasure 
from watching her.

Eve

Do not stop me!
I come on strong
and I Do not stop
unless I am told
by her voice
that I am done.
Step aside and observe
as I become lost 
in the music of worlds
and emerge 
under the influence
of dance.
Enjoy my mindless song.
I have lost all reason;
it is an useless skill
in mystery, dance, and bliss.
As I dance I discharge
the bad vibes out of me
and in an ecstatic moment,
I can experience
dance bliss.

The way my head disconnects
from though...
The way my heart disconnects
from pain....
The way my mouth is disconnected
from language
and the future and past blend
into now in dance
is priceless.

My feet are picking
a rhythm at last
and soon nothing exists
except for this melody
that gets within me
and moves me gracefully.

If you are very intimidated by dance
close your eyes, lower your vibe,
and crawl into a box. 
I would not stop dancing 
even if my limbs fell one by one!
my torso would dance one last time.

I dare you to join me
in a wild barefoot dance.
I will request that you
dance with every bit of soul
you can access and more.
You will achieve dance bliss.

A poetess creates from
Her femininity,
a powerful force that causes delight;
this causes a softening
in the listener's heart
through the vehicle
of her voice and her feeling art.

I'm here to tell you
and thank you for your ear
as well as your attention
and you precious time,
I will tell the ancient tale
of the greatest poetess
that ever lived.
A mortal muse
Who joined the rest
Was Sappho
The ancient poetess.
 
Influential poets
have been influenced
by Sappho's poetic grace,
she alone shaped poetry
into the expression of emotion
that we know today,
and like an ancient, raw stream of feelings
Sappho comes through
in modern poetry and songs of today;
this is why she is called
the tenth muse by all
who know of her contributions
to the singing arts and it's true,
she really was all that.

In ancient times
before modern school arrived
in Lesbos lived Sappho,
a very ancient woman with a voice.
In a time when women
were silent or unable to write,
Sappho was creating music and songs
not only to the gods
she was the first to sing of her passion,
her friendships, her family, and her Love.

Many years after her death
Even into our modern days,
Sappho's influence remains
and she won in the end
for poetry is now the continuation 
of her domain, that of the heart.
I called out to Sappho in my poetic way
and asked Aphrodite to connect me to the muse.

Eve

The love that lives in our heart
extends outwards and meets others,
it crosses their walls,
connects with them and makes
lasting impact. 

Love, when truly present in our hearts, naturally reaches beyond us. It doesn’t stay hidden, it radiates outward, breaks through emotional barriers others may have, and forms meaningful connections. This kind of love leaves a deep, lasting impression on others, showing that genuine affection and care have the power to transform lives.
