Dear Lovestar,
I am starting to get serious about working with my goddess Venus/ Aphrodite. I do have a secret request for her, now two things I need her divine help with (family related)
She has come forth to tell me in advance of my asking what I can do for her, which is excellent because I wasn’t sure, and I was shy to ask.
Aphrodite is the smile loving goddess (the source for this is Ammon Hilman, the philologist. He must have translated that phrase from an ancient Greek source)
Indeed, that was a clue of how to work with her and the indication is: smiling is perceived as beautiful and the goddess loves beauty in all its forms, also, smiling helps us connect. And even further, smiling means we have a certain level of safety, and there is some science on the fact that if we smile purposefully, something something but basically, smiling makes us happier. I am not a scientist, I am a researcher and spiritualist. Let me talk from my spirit loving side. Also when we smile, we might have a higher sense of self love or at the very least contentment, we might be able to manifest more easily if we smile.
Note: You obviously do not smile to the wrong person, if you are feeling unsafe or to someone you don’t like. This is not a patriarchal thing that leaves women a smile girlie in the home. Aphrodite talks of our sexual freedom, she is the baddest. We are reaching as far back as I can and connecting to one of the most ancient goddessess who has been demonized as a harlot by the patrianchy.
My suggestion is to smile to our loved ones ( I blog about divine love, that being a twin flame/ soulmate/ fated love/ family). These are people we are safe smiling around. My suggestion is also to smile to ourselves.
