I wrote my first song! It has been the highlight of my writing career (since yesterday) and I’m very excited to share this work with you.
I am looking for a different type of creative who could help me sing the song and/or add music to this song. I am a total beginner in that arena. A word to the perfectionist reader. My cursive is not perfect on that work, I know, and I’m not going to make any excuses. The second page is a bit damaged. I ran out of time and could not redo the handwriting yet, but I will because I’m hanging this beauty on my wall! I apologize for the imperfect presentation.
I have been talking about writing songs for a long time. I love music about as much as I love poetry. The only difference is that I am great at poetry, but I don’t sing. I am super shy about singing. I don’t consider my singing voice terrible. However, I am a perfectionist, so I only want to do things I’m truly good at, which is why I don’t like to sing. I have been trying to write a song for months now. My dream is now a reality, I will go back and finish the song I’ve been writing. It’s an amazing song, by the way. Or I should say, it will be an amazing song once finished. The name of that song is “Mermaid to Siren.”
It’s no surprise to me that during Pisces season, I am more inspired than ever and creating multiple works of art and the best works yet. Also, I have been creating with such ease. This will be what I do every Pisces season from now on. I have started habits for Leo season and Scorpio season so far. With the aid of this blog and my spiritual journey, I will start a new Pisces habit: it will be to create much better works of art.
I am a Pisces, and I love this energy. I am so grateful that I am channeling the Pisces energy into the best poems ever, and I am so grateful that I wrote my first song ever during Pisces season. But that’s not all: speaking with my children regarding their homeschool last night, I wrote another children song. I was so excited because it came out just like my poetry does, automatically, all at once. And it came out with music and everything. What I mean is I sung the song as I made it up. I then wrote that song, and my cursive came out great on that one (unlike this one) and then yesterday after I turned my favorite poem into this song, I wrote a poem that I consider my best. Yes, it beat interdimensional travel. Read that poem on yesterday’s post.
In summary: Yesterday was my most creative day ever: I wrote my first song, I wrote a second song, and I wrote my best poem yet!
