Dear Lovestar,
If you read my recent post (Valentine’s 2024), where I competed against AI for the best love letter and beat it! Of course, I’m biased, but for real, I beat AI in love letter writing! Go read both letters if you don’t believe me:
You might think love letter writing is not as important, but I’m on a mission to prove you wrong. In my experience, the love letters I’ve written have gotten me the loveliest results, and I plan on using them more. I don’t lie in my letter, so it’s very ethical.
Eve’s poem: My lame poetry app flagged this piece as sensitive š„ŗ š š¢ the poem is so sensitive that it’s crying about me being censored…
Thinking of Love by Eve
I am getting sleepy now
And I am thinking of us.
Thinking of kissing,
Thinking of hugs,
Thinking of Love.
I heard your voice in my head
It said I’m your woman now.
And I couldn’t stop smiling
Because I’m yours.
I’m thinking of Love.
If I got to talk to God,
I wouldn’t ask for a thing:
Thank you, God, for making him
To be my lover and my king!
And, oh, I’m thinking in love.
Love, the most exquisite thing
That you could offer to me.
I’m happy to give you back
A precious, delicate gift:
My Divine and sexy Love.

AI writes a poem
In the quiet of the night, under starlit skies,
I see your face, and my heart takes flight.
Your eyes, they sparkle, like the twinkling stars,
My love for you, like a beautiful guitar.
Our souls intertwined, like the roots of a tree,
Growing stronger, freer, and wild and free.
With every heartbeat, our love only grows,
In your arms is where my heart truly knows.
Through the storms and the sunshine, the laughter and tears,
You are my forever, and always, my dear.
Together, we’ll dance, in the rhythm of love,
A symphony, written in the skies above.
Forever in love, in this life and the next,
A love so deep, like a never-ending quest.
I am yours, and you are mine, forever to be,
In this world, and in eternity.

My reaction to the AI poem
I’m very happy to have done this because I was concerned that AI could write a better poem than me, and now I know that AI is good for a book report type of writing but humans beat AI in romantic writings. That’s right, I think I’m the winner of this challenge, too.
After interacting with AI and asking it facts vs. asking for a love letter or poem, I can say that, of course, it’s great at offering facts, but it lacks the energy download we receive from a good poem.
Scorpio, my beloved, says AI can beat chess champions, and I don’t doubt it, but chess is more logical, more mathematical. Poetry and love letter writing are more energetic and soulful, and in romance, humans still beat AI, I’m happy to report.
I’ll never use an AI poem. This was my first and last experiment.
But beware that people could attempt to pass AI works as their own. That would be lame, especially if someone used AI for their Valentine’s letter or something like a poem dedicated to one’s lover.
What is AI poetry missing?
I have talked a bit of the energy in poetry. This is what AI is missing. I’ll write another post about that next.
Please share your thoughts.
Did I win? Or did AI win? I know I won!
Was the AI poem enjoyable? I enjoyed it
PS: The lame poetry app that keeps censoring my poetry has a new write with AI feature… poetry is being written by AI, so get your daumily dose of poetry and romance with me.
Eve, beatten AI twice šŖ šŖ šŖ
